Candace Joan Few Donaldson (1965 - 2014)\r\n\r\nDONALDSON, Candace Candace Joan Few Donaldson was born April 8, 1965, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away October 7, 2014, in Richardson, Texas, at the age of 49. She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in March 2010 and fought the disease with determination for four and one-half years. Candace was the only daughter of William Hurley Few and Joan Butler Few. She graduated from Irving\'s Nimitz High School in 1984 and earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1992 from the University of North Texas in Denton. She married Paul Curtis Donaldson, Jr., in 1987. Candace was multi-talented, being a devoted wife and mother, great cook, accomplished carpenter, meticulous painter, superb organizer, and skilled church custodian. Her forte was making \"scratch\" chocolate-chip cookies and meringue banana pudding. She became a Christian at a young age and spent her entire life in service to her Lord and His Church. Candace is survived by her devoted husband, of 27 years, Paul Curtis \"Curt\" Donaldson, Jr.; one daughter, Ellen Joan Donaldson; one son, Andrew Paul Donaldson; parents William H. Few and Joan Butler Few; brothers, Kanah Few and wife, Robbie; Kelvin Few and wife, Tina; loving mother-in-law, Patricia Donaldson; brother-in-law, David Donaldson and wife, Charlotte; nieces, Sarah Few and Katie Few; nephews, Cagle Few, Keaton Few, John Donaldson, and Steven Donaldson. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Keaton Cleveland Few, and father-in-law, Paul Curtis Donaldson, Sr., Candace will be remembered in a memorial service at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Northrich Baptist Church, 1101 Custer, Richardson, Texas, 75080, with burial to follow in Restland Memorial Park.
